There is feature on iPhones that allows users, to change names on their phones from a previous owner to their own name. This is quite common and it occurs when people purchase an iPhone from other users or are gifted an iPhone.
Save yourself some money and a trip to the iPhone shop by simply following the steps below to change the name on your phone.
1 – Tap Setting.
2 – Tap General
3 – Tap About
4 – Tap on the name of the device (in your case, previous owner’s name) and then change that name to your name (or whatever name you wish to give it).
5 – Tap Done.
