Beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) are being recruited today. The 100,000 beneficiaries of NABCO are having a passing-out ceremony at the Black Star Square in Accra. The graduates are being enrolled into seven modules under the programme.
After going through weeks of training and capacity building, the recruits will be serving in the modules which include Civic Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Educate Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Digitise Ghana, Heal Ghana, and Feed Ghana.
NABCO is an initiative of the NPP government which is aimed at reducing the high levels of graduate unemployment in the country. The enlisted personnel will receive a monthly stipend of GH¢700.00 as they work for a period between three to four years on the programme.
President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia, government officials and other dignitaries are present at the graduation ceremony.
