The Ghana Education Service (GES) has introduced a virtual learning time table for pupils and students in Kindergarten (KG) to Junior High School JHS) while schools remain closed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
This timetable indicates when subjects will be aired via the eLearning channel on selected channels in Ghana.
It has only English and Maths lessons for pre-school and lower primary (KG – P3), while upper primary (P4 – P6) has lessons in English, Maths and Science.
For JHS 1 – 3, there are lessons in English, Maths, Science and Social Studies, while SHS students whose programme has been running for some time now, also have combinations of Maths & Science, and English & Social Studies.
Parents and Guardians are urged to take note of the time tables and ensure their wards participate actively in the lessons, according to guidelines accompanying the programmes.
The televised sessions are airing on DStv 315, GOtv 150, and StarTimes 312.
