The app shows you how you’ll look in 20, 30, or 60 years down the line. This is because the app has an aging filter that shows you how you will look in a number of years to come. FaceApp has since gone viral because a lot of people including regular people and celebrities have posted pictures of their older selves on social media.
The FaceApp trend started with the #AgeChallenge with people downloading the app and passing their photos through a filter to show a picture of them looking older.
Some of the edited photos are being posted on social media by people including popular athletes and celebrities. Most of these FaceApp photos are posted on various social media especially Twitter.
