Ivy Barley, a Ghanaian digital nomad, steminist and an entrepreneur is now a programs manager at Microsoft. She made this announcement on her twitter page today.
She is the co-founder and CEO of Developers in Vogue, an organization that trains females in the latest technologies and connects them to real-time projects and jobs.
Commenting on her career move she said, “Stoked to announce the next stage of my career growth: taking up a programs managers role at Microsoft! I’m optimistic about the opportunity to make a bigger impact at Microsoft, while I am at devinvogue”
As a child, she had a strong aptitude for Mathematics and Technology, which helped shape her career path eventually. She also has an MPhil. in Mathematical Statistics.
Ivy, who is also a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum has always been at the forefront advocating for the empowerment of girls in tech.
As founder and CEO of Developers in Vogue, she dedicates her time to training young girls in coding and other mobile application techniques.
She desires to impact Ghana and Africa as a whole by helping to shape young minds in the tech world.
